About Me

Hello my name is Ross and I am currently a Head of Science with extensive knowledge of the science curriculum. I started the GCSE science 6+ programme when I realised there is a chronic lack of good science teachers available. I realised by focusing on the 30 Big Ideas that appear across all the UK GCSE exam papers, I was able to enable to make my students make rapid progress in the GCSE grades. Whilst this programme won’t allow you to get every single mark correct, it will allow you to become proficient in the big ideas of content and skills to enable you to hit grade 6 or above. This programme combines enganging teaching with memory skills techniques. Each lesson is followed up with a gap spotting exercise which will help me identify where you need to improve.
